Taco Bell is being sued over meat that is just 35 percent beef. The suit was filed on behalf of a Taco Bell customer and California resident, who wants a court to order Taco Bell to be honest in its advertising. The company does list its ingredients on its website, however the fillers that are being used are said to be a potential risk for some consumers. The meat from Taco Bell doesn't meet the minimum requirements set by the USDA, which stands for The United States Department of Agriculture and is the Food Safety and Inspection Service. People would rather Taco Bell refer to its meat as mixed meat and include a list of ingredients instead of seasoned ground beef. Taco Bell responded with agreeing that its seasoned ground beef is not 100 percent beef, and other ingredients are only used to add flavor and quality. Yes the company admitted to not using ingredients that are crucial to making healthy and enjoyable food.
